​Purpose:The Holtby CenterSpot is very light weight, fits into any regulation size hole and can be used at any golf course to reduce the size of the hole. It is guaranteed to improve the speed of your putts and focus.

How it Works (Psychology): Once you place the Holtby CenterSpot  into any regulation size hole, putt for several minutes, remove the CenterSpot and the hole looks huge.


Think of all other sports for training: Field Goal Kickers practice to smaller field goals, Hockey Players to smaller goals, Snooker tables with smaller pockets vs. regular billiard tables, Darts, etc.  

Product Development: Paul Holtby's inspiration for developing the CenterSpot came to him many years ago. Paul and his father had built a putting green in their backyard with four regulation size holes at 4 1/4 inches, one 6 inch hole to build confidence and a 3 inch hole to sharpen their speed control and focus (the size of the CenterSpot).

Idea, Creation to Development: After realizing the value of the 3 inch hole and a dramatic improvement to Paul's putting through better speed control and focus, Paul wanted to make this available to himself at the golf courses before tournaments or when he was on the road traveling to professional tournaments.
