Philosophy: Golf Swings and Golf Games are like Finger Prints. We all have them and they are unique to each person. Because everyone is built differently in regards to body type, muscle mass, flexibility and physical strength we need to develop a golf swing and a golf game specifically for you. One that can be repeated, will lead to lower scores and more enjoyable golf.

The Process of Learning: Learning is not excessive adding on .... it is paring down, changing old patterns and reconnecting.  Learning is replacing a less complete, complicated way with a simpler and more encompassing way.

We are Individuals: We Are all Different and Unique! We must understand what are bodies can and cannot do, work with our style and have equipment that compliments us.

Mission Statement: To enhance the knowledge, skill and enjoyment in the game of golf for individuals of all ages and abilities through a series of developmental programs designed and taught by a  PGA  Professional.

2 Principles of Golf:
1) Distance: How far did it go?
2) Direction: Where did it end up & how did it get there?

When you can answer these two questions and understand why - you are on your way to becoming a better player!

 Three Areas of Golf:
1) Putting  (Short Putts & Long Putts)
2) Short Game   (Chip, Pitch & Sand)
3) Ball Striking   (Full Swings)

Things You Can Control:
1
) Where you tee up your ball.
2)
Choice of target.
3) What club you choose.
4) Where you line up.
5) How you set-up.

Your set-up dictates how you can or can't swing the club with consistancy. Set up properly and understand the cause and effect of your set-up and better golf is just around the dog-leg!!!

Purpose of your tools “The Sticks”:
Driver: Originally called the "Play Club" designed to get the ball in play.
Woods & Long Irons: To advance the ball down the hole to the green.
Mid-Irons: To advance the ball on to or near the green.
Short Irons: To advance the ball on the green and close to the hole.
Short Game: To advance the ball close to the hole.
Putting: To roll the ball close to the hole if not in the  bottom of the cup.
